Behind a door in a high brick wall is one of the prettiest gardens we know: four acres of roses, peonies and espaliered pears, looked after by the same family for a century.
Ceremonies are held under the rose arch; dinner is in the long Victorian glasshouse, lit with hundreds of candles.
